Question by Amy W: Sports competitions where men and women compete without regard to sex?
I’m wondering what sports competitions have men and women compete against each other. I don’t mean anything like mixed double tennis, where each team must have a man and a woman. I’m looking for ports where they completely disregard the person’s gender.

The only one I can think of is the Iditarod. Each person competes against al others, men and women together. (Probably also the Yukon Quest, but I’m looking for other sports.) In case you are wondering, women won the Iditarod in 85, 86, 87, 88, 90.
I just remembered there is a woman in auto racing, so I guess there is that.

In high school and middle schools, girls wrestle against the boys most of the year since there are so few girls on opposing teams.
