Trail Snacks?

We need to take care of ourselves as well, or we will falter when the dogs need us the most.

Trail Snacks?

I just love water, peanut butter and jelly, and I LOVE Caveman Crunch.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, dog harness in one hand, duct tape in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming...“Wow---what a ride”

PB&J is good, but I have discovered frozen PB and Nutella sandwiches. Those are the best things I have ever eaten.

Caveman Crunch is a freeze dried fruit and nut mix. Perfect for on the go, etc...And I think it will work perfectly for the mushing community, as it is a type of food that won't freeze! LOL

I will have it available shortly on the site.

For snow camping (no dogs, unfortunately) next weekend, I am trying a bunch of different snacks, so we'll see what they are like! All sorts of clif bar gummies and such as that.

I don't take anything on to the trail not even water. The reason? I'm doing usually 4 miles worth of training lasting 25 minutes tops But I usually bring all sorts of food for when i get back. Including; Biscuits, donuts, tea and chocolate, when i get my van sorted i'll have a frying pan! So bring on the bacon!
