Will Steger Returns From Arctic Global Warming Expedition

Author: admin

As the first reported person to reach the North Pole by an un-supplied dog sled trip - Will Steger has been in the front lines helping to promote the preservation of the world's Arctic regions.

His latest journey, which brought him & companions around Ellesmere Island, went to plan - and luckily, without any serious troubles or problems.

The interest in visiting Ellesmere Island was due to the collapsing ice shelves and other devastation expected to have been wrought by the forces of global warming. The team actively collected data & information regarding the current status of the world's third largest island.

Steger has traveled thousands of miles in the Arctic by dog-team, and has two more expeditions slated for future global warming study.

Steger rocks. He's always out there promoting dog sledding AND helping do research all at the same time. It's great!
