Hello everyone,
I am a total newbie...to the board and sled dogging in general. I have wanted and dreamed all my life but just now at 43 and rather broken down am I finally pursuing my dreams! I do have an extensive background working with dogs and domestic animals though. I have abeen a director of a humane society, kennel mgr, vet assistant, etc etc.
I am getting a pup tomorrow, 8 wks old. Husky/Mal/Akita mix. Mother does some light recreational pulling, etc. Can anyone give me any helpful hints/advise on what and when to start what how? LOL. Seriously, all advice most welcome!
