so here's the story
I got two girls, 10 and 2
I don't know how many of you have little girls
but here's the problem
"daddy, I really want a puppy..." :biggrin
so now we have this unholy terror, border collie rotty cross, more collie than rotty
and it weighs about as much as she does
though when we got her, she weighed a little less than the 2yo
as things stand
the wife hates her, the 10yo is scared to death of her, I'm not backing down, and the 2yo is on my side
the cutest thing really "dow' dow' "

anyway
I have made mistakes
and I've just started to take steps to rectify them
of course, I'm the one to take Michiko for her walks
I've recently taken up mountain biking again
but as you can imagine, she can haul
I'm 31yo and haven't been on a bike in 12 years and smoked for 16
I'm still in good shape, as I'm a floorlayer
but she is a demanding physical trainer

the problem
she's rambunctious, inquisitive, demanding, and impatient
and she's starting to talk more
I already work out all day every day, I really don't need the extra reps
I've put her on a um... cinch harness?
supposed to tighten her chest, so she doesn't pull
she'll drag me up a hill if she thinks I'm going too slow
I just got a pinch collar, but she's not that impressed by it, may be too early to tell though

so all this leads me to you guys
all flattery aside, you guys are the first discussion board I've come across
I've been looking at carts and wagons, and probably sleds too
she's seven months old, is she old enough to try this?
