I'm very excited about this new development on Sleddoggin.com. It's the brand new, improved Photos area for our community. You can view the gallery here: <!-- m -->http://sleddoggin.com/photos/index.php<!-- m -->
As of now I'll be adding all the past photos that were submitted for use in the gallery - but more importantly; now, YOU can submit photos too.[b] If you already have a forum account - you already have a photos account.[/b] All you need to do is login, travel to the Photos area - and click on the Upload Files button. That link, is located here: <!-- m -->http://sleddoggin.com/photos/upload.php<!-- m -->
You can either upload photos from your computer, or upload photos using a web URL address where the photo is already located online.
Once you upload your photos you will be automatically taken to a page where you can configure the information for each photo. Just select the Category you would like each photo placed in - add a description, title, and keywords; and whola! You've added photos to the gallery!
Please note that I must approve all photos before they are added into the Photos area - as I want to keep it as safe as possible; to protect all users.
I really hope you enjoy and use this special feature - and help to be a part in creating the largest dog sledding database of photos on the net today!

P.S. Please let me know your thoughts on how the system works for you - and if you find any inconsistencies when logging in, using the upload function, etc...It's mostly bug free - but I do know little errors can pop up here and there. What's most exciting is that you only need ONE account when using both the forum and gallery. No more "double" logins!

Hey I noticed your new banner photo and it's an amazing one! Are those mushing or snowmachine trails? Anyways, it's a beautiful photo! Makes me miss winter so much! Pretty soon we'll have snow and those dark winter nights again.

EXACTLY! i like that rule hahaha, and what you put for mine is perfect... as i said im incapable hahaha
As of now I have the gallery set so that it won't allow you to change descriptions, titles, etc...after you post - as I don't want some rogue user to go back and change the content inappropriately AFTER I have already approved it. If you have a photo you need changed - just send me the link; along with your changes, and I can fix.
hahahah yeah i hope so! small tip haha make sure you actually fill everything out instead of being a moron like me hahaha and missing something hahaha i mean its not a huge deal or anything cause our faithful Christian will help ya out hahaha but im incapable hahaha
Thank you very much - once everyone sees how much fun you're having; they'll all start adding photos! I've just started using the comments feature too - and its a blast to add my thoughts to other people's pics.
LOVE IT! its easy to use and kinfa fun! ill be sur to keep pulling out pix to put up!
Must also note that you can also add comments under each photo - as you see fit. You must have an account to do so - but once again, forum members; you're already covered. :biggrin

I believe they are snowmobile tracks, but in my mind - they're tracks from glorious dog teams. :)
Glad you're home - I'll send your book immediately. I didn't want your book to get stuck in the mail while you were away! I sure miss winter too!
