So weekend before last, I ran a Jedeye team in the Wolftrack Classic 60-miler. The race runs from Ely, MN to Tower, MN and then back to Ely. The 60-mile race is an 8-dog event (there is also a 6-dog, 30-miler from Ely to Tower).
It was a fun race and, although the sun was warm and intense, the air temp was cool. We took red lantern (that seems to be my theme this year, LOL) but had a good time. The trail was beautiful with some pretty decent hills. One stretch went through a state park and that was probably my favorite.
Last race of the Season (for us) and everybody did well.
