Hello to everyone! I am not a musher but have a great interest in the sport and especially the Iditarod. I will be flying into Anchorage on 2/28/07 and hope to volunteer for the race. This summer my wife and I took an Alaska cruise and had a dog sled ride on a glacier out of Juneau. Also got to visit the kennels of Bill Hall (Trapper Creek) and Jeff King (Denali). I have my retired partner living with me ( Lady, 8yr old Dutch Shepherd, narcotics dog). She makes a good pet. Any way, I hope to learn alot from you all. Take care and be safe out there.
