HEI, my name is Brandon and i have a team of 6 sibes! i got into sledding with the help of my friend matt and his pups! thanks to him i have been enjoying this for around three seasons now. I am also very lucky to live down the road from one of the fastest sprint mushers around, Tom Matthias who helped Lee Fishback write his book "how to train a lead dog". I hope to not have the fastest team but to learn how to cover more ground and do distance sledding. i really like the idea of camping out with them for a week or so just me, my friends and the dogs. i hope to someday run the iditarod and to finish! i would be grateful to "red lantern!" Im also a member of "the Sons of Norway" as my family is mostly norwegian so i enjoy doing things that keep my heritage alive. hope to meet some of you soon!

Welcome Brandon. Sounds like you're having a blast with your team. Wow, you live near Tom Matthias. That's pretty cool. Do you ever just sit and talk his ear off - asking questions? I know I would!
I have Norwegian in me too. We put on an event in San Francisco each year called Norway Days. It's great to see the locals who come out and support the event!
