Last week I did a little mini triathlon with a group of about 15 boys and leaders (friends in my church youth group) and we put together a little mini triathlon.
The swim was only a couple hundred yards, bike was around 5 miles, and the run was 2 miles.
I just have to say that I am a horrible swimmer! LOL. And hopefully I don't fall into any ice this year. ;)
I ended up coming in 4th. My Dad got 1st. LOL
By the way, my Dad puts on events for a living. He is the one you see at triathlons, runs, etc...that brings in tenting, sound, cones, and everything else you can think of. This last year we put on a small event in our town that drew about 50 people. It wasn't very much compared to the 5000 people events he is used to putting on! :) It was a dog walk event. In the next couple of years hopefully I can convince him to do a sled dog race! :)
