Just thought I'd pipe up and introduce myself.
My family and I run a dogsled tour business in Kearney, Ontario, Canada.
We got started in dogsledding because we homeschool - our sons had their winters off, so a dogsledding neighbour hired them to help her with a tour or two. It quickly escalated into our own dogsled team, then 2, then 4, then, well we're up to 40 dogs.....
My Uncle had used dogteams to deliver the mail during the 1940s, so dogsledding was already part of our family history.
We've been doing tours for 6 years, now. I am still learning about sled dogs, but it sure is fun !
