Christian, in your admin panel do you have a setting that will allow links to open in a new window? That way we can check out pictures or websites posted by users without loosing our "place" on the forum.

Re: Links setting

I'm running Firefox, so opening in a new tab is no big deal so long as I remember to do it. I was thinking about those using older versions of Explorer and other browsers. There is still some pretty ancient stuff in use by folks who can't afford frequent upgrades (i.e. dog mushers )

However, if you happen to be one of those folks, Firefox is a FREEBIE, and it works GREAT!!!

I'll check into this add-on for the forum.
For the time being - I'd suggest checking out the latest versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer if possible. They both allow you to click on links and open them up in a new window, just by pressing a certain button. If you need more help on how to do this, let me know.

I know that for Firefox, you can click on a link with your middle mouse scrolling button - and it will open in a new tab/window. You can also press Ctrl - and then the link; and it will open in a new window. I believe it might be the same for Internet Explorer.

I'll check on a function for the forum as well.

Thanks swanny!
