Hi everyone, my name is Sarah, I'm 23 and live in Southern AB, Canada. Definitely not the best place to have sled dogs! We never get any snow, have to travel into the mountains several hours for that. I am going to get a scooter, so that we can run without being dependant on the snow.

I have two purebred siberians, a 5 year old black and white female, and an 19 month old male agouti/sable pinto. We just got into sledding this season, I've had Maui, my female, for just over two and a half years years and Tear, my male for just over a year.

They are pretty much spoiled housedogs but we are very active, going for runs daily for about an hour. I am thinking about getting one more pooch where we currently live then in a few years we are planning on moving back the the West kootenays in BC, buying a small acreage and building a home. There I will expand to a full recreational sled team (4-8), probably mostly of rescue dogs, and hopefully I can get my boyfriend hooked on sledding too.
