My brothers Sibe,Phantom,is a year old.Healthy in every way until he got his nuetering done about a month ago.

After he got home, one eye started oozing a bit of greenish goop, and i then noticed what appeared to be a milky disk over the pupil.Pupil seems contracted and not moving.Whites of his eye are red and bloodshot. The cornea seems to go from pink, back to blue, depending on the light.

I just got off the phone with my brother, and now tyhe other eye is going through this, and he seems to be losing his vision.

Phantoms vet has never seen this before, and is surprized by how fast this is progressing.

If its cataracts,he says he has never seen them happen so fast.Possible blood and pressure in the eyes.

There are no dog eye doctors in my area,or even state as far as research shows, and it looks like Boston is the only place to go..

Has anyone gone through anything like this, and does anyone know of an eye specialist in the north east region near N Y S?

Thanks...were all trying to get this taken care of before the poor pup goes blind.

It does not sound like cataracts. It sounds like he has picked up an infection when he was neutered. If you need an eye specialist I know an excellent vet in Vancouver BC. My lead dog has cataracts,we plan to have surgery this Summer. If you want to e-mail me I will giv you all the details.
