Does anyone do hikes with their dogs during the summer and spring months? I've got to get the dog packs out and start training! My goal for this summer is to be able to go on a hike with 3 dogs (while maintaining control i might add) - and have them all obediently walk directly behind me. Though it may be said that this would detract from their desire to pull - I think it may well in fact increase their obedience, stamina, and overall respect for myself. I am wondering if it would actually INCREASE their ability as sled dogs. Any thoughts?
