Hi. I run a very small UK based kennel of just two Greenland dogs. During the summer months I normally feed a natural type diet of chicken carcasses, greentripe with a biscuit mixer, eggs, beans, veg's etc. Now the cooler weather is starting to arrive we're all back in training.
I've just ordered a sack of Eagle Pack 30.20 Power formula to act as a high protein mixer so I can cut down on the lower protein carcasses but increase tripe and ox cheek. I also supplement with herbs and glucosamine.
I was wondering if anyone had any comments or advice on this plan, or the quality of Eagle Pack which seems to be about the highest protein I can get in the uk.
Our training consists of sprint runs every other night at about 3 miles at the moment, but will be increasing to 5 or 6 miles when the dogs and I get fitter and the temp drops.
