Duane “Dewey” Halverson, 9 time Iditarod finisher and child motivational speaker - delivered a heartwarming message to the children at Spearfish Middle-School. With dog and gear in tow, Halverson teaches children to reach for their dreams and never stop what you’ve finished.
Although retired from dog sled racing, Halverson is able to bring his inspirational message to children around the nation.
