William Devane was astounding in this movie, as usual! The movie has it all…drama,intrigue, excitement, tears, humor, romance, patrioticsm and the Christmas Spirit! Although a exiguous predictable, it is detached a astounding movie the entire family can perceive! It isn’t often you sight a movie that leaves you with a top-notch feeling in your heart!!!! This is one of those movies! A ample movie to peek anytime, not honest at Christmas! A extraordinary, thought-provoking movie for those who have a lost a loved one in the war!

The “Holidays” seem to be synonmous with “family”. For this family, there are no more holidays because their son was killed in the Gulf War. You don’t have to have lost a loved one to understand the emotions in this fable. There’s only a few characters but they play their parts superbly. My accepted Christmas movie.
